Freshman Manager, Sink or Swim (#FMSOS) is a book about my first year in the hospital setting as a healthcare manager/administrator. It is in simpler terms, my journal converted into a book.

 

 

You'll read of my trials and tribulations, mistakes and corrections learned, victories and pitfalls as I navigate the complex and not so welcoming world of healthcare management. I write in the first person to give a personal feel to the not-so personal world of corporate America. Some illustrations in the book are imagined with the goal of knowledge sharing.

 

This is a simple quick read that those aspiring to be healthcare managers should read, while current health administrators can relate to; in addition, anyone working in corporate America will enjoy the familiarity found in the book, while global readers can enjoy the satire of a not-so different approach to business governance.
