3M Paint Protection Film was originally designed to meet a military requirement to protect helicopter rotor blades from the erosive effects from the sand in the desert. Today we use the clear film to protect our vehicles from rocks and other driving debris. Paint Protection Film (PPF) helps keep your vehicles looking better, longer, which helps boost your trade-in value. Our film stops 90%-95% of rocks, however it will not stop everything.

PRODUCT REVIEW AND TEST

5 YEAR REAL WORLD TEST
2007 Accord-87,000 km
PPF applied new in 2007
The windshield has chips, the chrome grill has chips, the paint looks very good. After five years the PPF is not in "like new" showroom condition, but it still looks better than a sand blasted car. There are minor wear marks and even cuts in the film from sharp rocks, but the film did its job, it protected the paint

WINDSHILD
Chips in the Windshield.

GRILL
Chips in the Grill.
RESULT
This test car is mine. It is not showroom condition but it still looks very good and will have a high resale value
